About: GNU ccScript offers a class extensible threaded embedded scripting engine for use with the Common C++ GNU package. This engine is also used in Bayonne (the GNU telephony server), and in TOSI (FreeBSD and GNU/Linux PBX integration servers). This engine differs from traditional scripting systems in that it is used to script near real-time state-event systems through deterministic callback step execution rather than the linear and non-deterministic fashion of embedded script libraries such as tcl, and libguile. Changes: The core engine was completely rewritten. Many enhancements were made. The script engine is now lock-free and heap usage has been greatly reduced to maximize performance. Extensive compile-time support has been added to validate scripts.
About: xmonad is a tiling window manager for X. Windows are arranged automatically to tile the screen without gaps or overlap, maximising screen use. Window manager features are accessible from the keyboard; a mouse is optional. xmonad is extensible in Haskell, allowing for powerful customisation. Custom layout algorithms, key bindings, and other extensions may be written by the user in config files. Layouts are applied dynamically, and different layouts may be used on each workspace. Xinerama is fully supported, allowing windows to be tiled on several physical screens. Changes: A general purpose replacement for "gaps" has been adopted. Floating windows pop up on the current screen by default. Locale support was added. Many extensions were added, including the ability to write your own configuration parsers.
About: Reverse Snowflake Joins is a tool that parses SQL Select statements and generates a diagram. In addition to joins, the diagram shows parts of the underlying SQL directly in the diagram.
